I am mostly interested in Jamaica. I dont know much it and would like to know more. About its literature and culture

Research project

Two cultures i would like to visit is France , United kingdom, and Jamaica.I would mostly want to learn about Jamaica because it is a tropical island and i dont know much about it and i would like to know more about.

My strenghts and goals

Three strenghts I have is that I like drawing,reading and my ability to work with others. Three major long term goals is that I want to be a veterinarian,own my own property and have more patience. Three flaws that I want to improve on are procrastination with homework, being argumentative and being loud. To work on these goals I will strive to be the best that I can be. The only thing standing in the way of me getting these goals is myself.

The video we watched in class made me realize that Enkido and Gilgamesh were very similiar because Enkidu was trying to be more human and so was Gilgamesh and they helped each other because they have the same goal.

Enkidu's Death

At first I blamed Gilgamesh for Enkidu's death because Gilgamesh upset the Gods with caused them to kill Enkidu. Then I blamed the gods because they did kill him. Now i realize Enkidu is to blame for his own death because if he would have killed Gilgamesh from the start(which is why he was created) he still would have been alive. Also Enkidu went willingly if he wouldn't have gotten involved with Gilgamesh's foolish acts he wouldn't have died. Doing this I noticed that the Gods, Gilgamesh, and Enkidu are all to blame because they all played a role in Enkidu's death.

Gilgamesh's morality

When Enkidu died Gilgamesh realized that he needed to change his lifestyle. Before Enkidu died Gilgamesh and him where daredevils. After Enkidu died he felt sad and decided to change his way an accept his morality. In my opinion if Gilgamesh had changed his ways to begin with Enkidu would still have been alive.

what is hero

A hero is someone who does something for nothing in return. A hero is someone that is brave, noble and is kind-hearted.
